A beautiful old parks course. It's on the short side, but there are few exceptional holes (17 is one of the best I've ever played). Could be better maintained, but given the price, I don't think you could expect any better. Crowded on weekends, but largely wide open on week days. If you want a course in the Beth Page tradition (that you can actually play), this is a good choice.
I had a Bluetooth speaker stolen from my cart from a cart employee but that's not the problem. The bad review is from the promises from management to take care of the matter. Poorly managed, keep your belongings close to you, beware of sticky fingers!
For $38 you can't beat it this course. Tough holes with tough greens.
If you're looking for a budget Golf Course Chenango Valley State Park is a place for you. Every hole is different and challenging at the same time. Sometimes the bugs can get annoying due to the fact that you do not spray for it. During the summer months when it's dry the Fairways tend to get a little hard. Overall it's a very good course for your money.
